To accelerate the application of high-performance PVF steel plates in fields such as new energy and industrial buildings, ENP Industrial visited multiple design institutes and research institutions intensively in April 2025. Through technological collaboration and product innovation, it deepened industrial chain cooperation.

Innovative materials empower infrastructure




PVF is a polyvinyl fluoride material invented by DuPont of the United States in the 1940s. To meet the demands of more new and old customers for high-end building materials, Yieh Phui (China), DuPont Tedlar® and Shanghai ENP have jointly developed Tedlar® PVF film coated steel and painted steel - "SHIELDTECK", marking a brand-new development milestone for Tedlar® PVF, an expert in surface protection.


UV resistant and Anti-aging

PVF coated steel have excellent UV resistance and anti-aging performance. Even after long-term exposure to wind and rain, the coating surface will not show phenomena such as powdering or fading.


Chemical resistance

PVF coated steel can withstand the erosion of various acids, alkalis, salt spray and polar solvents, protecting the base layer from the influence of corrosive usage environments.


Excellent Bending Performance

PVF coated steel can achieve a bending performance of 0T. Even if they are folded in half, no cracks will occur, providing reliable and long-lasting protection for the bending points of steel.


Easy to clean

PVF coated steel can resist all kinds of dust and dirt. It is also chemically inert and can be cleaned with various cleaning agents, reducing maintenance costs.

Bengbu Branch of China Machinery Engineering Corporation First Research Institute

First Design & Research Institute of MI China Co., Ltd. (originally known as the First Design and Research Institute of Machinery Industry), affiliated with the China Academy of Machinery Science & Technology Group Co., Ltd., is one of the earliest comprehensive design institutes established in China. Over the past seven decades, the company has undertaken and completed more than 4,000 national large- and medium-scale key projects as well as overseas projects, covering businesses such as engineering design, engineering consulting, engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contracting, and project supervision.

During its visit to the Bengbu Branch of China First Design and Research Institute of Machinery Industry (CAM First Institute), ENP Industrial conducted specialized technical discussions on the Zhucheng Biomass Power Project, focusing on innovative industrial building envelope solutions, particularly the corrosion resistance and anti-aging advantages of PVF-coated steel. The proposal received strong endorsement from the design team, who confirmed they would prioritize this solution for high-corrosion environments such as coastal power plants and chemical facilities. Furthermore, the branch's chief engineer recognized ENP's technical expertise and facilitated introductions to additional project resources,paving the way for expanded collaboration.

Northwest Electric Power Design Institute

Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. of China Power Engineering Consulting Group (hereinafter referred to as "NWEPDI") has long been committed to providing integrated services including energy planning, survey and design, EPC contracting, consulting and supervision, as well as investment-construction-operation solutions. The company maintains comprehensive technological leadership across multiple engineering sectors, particularly in energy planning research, power generation, grid infrastructure, renewable energy, geotechnical investigation, municipal engineering, and environmental projects.

During the thematic exchange session with Northwest Electric Power Design Institute, the ENP team comprehensively presented the superior performance characteristics of PVF-coated/pre-painted steel, including their exceptional UV resistance, anti-aging properties, and corrosion protection capabilities. The presentation effectively demonstrated PVF steel plates' strong adaptability and protective performance in various power plant and power station construction scenarios.

Xi'an Survey and Design Institute

Established in 1964, Xi'an Survey and Design Institute of China Nonferrous Metals Industry (abbreviated as XSDI) is a nationally certified high-tech enterprise. By pioneering emerging businesses including carbon consulting services, new energy solutions and carbon capture technologies, the institute has developed distinctive low-carbon specialization capabilities.

During this visit to Xi'an Survey and Design Institute, ENP Industrial specifically highlighted the broad application prospects of PVF steel in emerging fields such as metallurgy and smelting. The discussions focused on forward-looking layouts for future energy development, with both parties expressing strong interest in complementary cooperation and collaborative efforts moving forward.

During the visit, ENP Industrial's marketing team held in-depth discussions with expert panels from major design institutes about high-end customized building material solutions, where PVF-coated steel panels and pre-painted steel plates drew widespread attention and recognition from the experts for their excellent UV resistance, anti-aging properties, long reliable service life, diverse design options, and eco-friendly features.
